Israel Ministry of Education - the Dept of Education for Adults

The Ministry of Education is in charge of all the educative system of Israel, its existence and improvement, from pre-primary studies to post-secondary studies. More than one and a half million students receive every day education in Israel, thanks to the Ministry of Education. Its goals are, among others: to reduce socio-economic gaps inside society, to improve the work of the teacher and his/her status, to enforce the most preliminary stages of education towards a more educated and cultured society.

Ulpan Ra’anana

Ulpan Ra’anana is dedicated to the teaching of the Hebrew language to adults (+17). This educational center works thanks to the support of the Jewish Agency and under the supervision of Israel Ministry of Education. In recognition of its impact and great work towards integration of newcomers into the Israeli society, Ulpan Ra’anana was awarded with the Education Award, 1998. Ulpan Ra’anana is one of the biggest Hebrew learning centers in Israel.

The Jewish Agency for Israel

The Jewish Agency is the biggest Jewish partnership in the world. The Jewish Agency goal is to ensure the future of the Jewish People, through Jewish Zionist education, and tight cooperation with Israel promoting Jewish immigration (Aliyah).

The Jewish Agency is an association of volunteers, a partnership of Jews for Judaism in the world, concentrating its efforts in Israel. As such, the Jewish Agency is the most effective instrument in fulfilling our goal – to ensure the continuity of our people.
