Ulpanet. has been developing and running online Hebrew courses since 2002.  Having recognized a global need for Hebrew studies, we have created unique programs which enable educational institutions and individuals to study Hebrew in an interactive manner and enjoy attractive rates. Amongst our customers are numerous Jewish communities throughout the U.S. and Canada, as well as Israel's Ministry of Education as well as schools servicing the Arab sector and public and private institutions worldwide.

Ulpanet's innovative method, which was developed and tested in cooperation with the Ministry of Education – department for Adult Education, has proven extremely effective, user friendly and enjoyable.
Our team is comprised of Israel's leading Hebrew ulpan teachers who worked alongside top developers in the area of language-education technology. It is this team who ensure that the courses are available anytime and anywhere, and in five languages: English, French, Russian, Spanish and Arabic.

Students who choose to study are not required to adapt to the course, the course adjusts itself to suite the students. Virtual teachers are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, throughout the 8 month course, to take each student forward step by step at their own individual pace.  All one needs in order to follow the course is a computer – no Hebrew keyboard is required as the course provides a virtual one.

And for those who wish, a kit which includes a CD’s of all the spoken sections, and a workbook, is available – so you can listen to the course in the car or on your MP.

How Does It Work?

We believe that the best way to learn is interactive and compromises involvement, interest, challenge and enjoyment.
The course includes hundreds of interactive assignments, where we at Ulpanet:

• Talk to you – for each word, sentence and dialogue studied the correct Hebrew pronunciation is provided and emphasized.
• Train you – you are required to repeat aloud, each sentence you learn.
• Play with you – We constantly challenge you with puzzles, memory games and personal quizzes.
• Focus you – the various topics are marked and highlighted in various colors in order to focus the student's attention to the relevant words.
• Provide you feedback – your personal virtual teacher will guide and provide feedback throughout each step and phase of the course.

Full Control of Results

All Ulpanet courses are activated through LMS (Learning Management System), a unique study management program developed especially for Ulpanet.  The smart system continuously assesses each student's achievement in each assignment and constructs their tasks and study topics accordingly. Ulpanet is the only online Hebrew Study course which enables teachers to track their students' achievements at all times.
The system provides the teacher with an access code to data, including printable class and personal statistics.
At any stage of the course both student and teacher can receive a full and detailed report of the student's command of each of the topics.

Ulpanet offers added value to those who do not only wish to learn Hebrew, but also seek to know more about Israel.  In each unit the student learns about the country through virtual travel through Israel's cities and landscapes, tours in its museums and galleries and through Israeli music.  Each unit allows students to make use of the Hebrew they are learning in order to read passages from the Bible.
